Linda Thingstad Recipient of Trustee Character Award
Lakehead District School Board is pleased to announce that a Trustee Character Award has been presented to Linda Thingstad, student support professional, in appreciation of her caring disposition, helpful nature, and unceasing positive presence in the Ecole Gron Morgan Public School community.
Linda Thingstad was chosen as a recipient of the Lakehead District School Board Trustee Character Award for her unconditional kindness toward not only students, but staff too. Mrs. Thingstad knows many students and staff members and helps them at every opportunity she gets, whether it is finding an extra jacket for someone who needs one or packing an extra sandwich just in case. She is known for checking in with student support professionals and other staff members to see how their day is going and to offer to help, despite her full workload. Regardless of difficult issues she may encounter, Mrs. Thingstad always remains a positive and forward-looking presence at the school.
